For me, and probably for many others, Sweden is the country of pastries. There are many days, a year dedicated to different pastries, like the Kanelbulle Dag (cinnamon roll day), Fettisdag where my favorite, the semla is in focus, and of course the lussekatt makes it's appearance every Christmas season (these days, as early as October).
If I would need to choose my Fantastic Four it would be the Princes Cake, which is the most common cake for any kind of Swedish celebration, the previously mentioned Semla, consumed before eastern before the fasting starts, the Kanelbulle, which is just the a must in every cafe and bakery all year long, and the Damsugare, or punch roll, which just as the kanelbulle, you can find in every bakery and cafe and it's one of the go to sweet treat for many Swedes.
